Where you will make an impact
You will work across the product stack to move features from idea to production. The role requires enough breadth to build interfaces, APIs, integrations, and data flows while maintaining the engineering discipline needed for security, testing, observability, performance, and long-term ownership.
What you will do
Core responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain responsive user interfaces, backend services, APIs, and data integrations for production products.
- Turn product requirements and designs into reliable features with clear technical decisions and maintainable code.
- Work closely with product, design, cloud, and quality teams through planning, code review, release, and iteration.
- Improve application performance, accessibility, security, observability, and resilience across web and service layers.
- Investigate production issues, resolve root causes, and keep technical documentation current for the systems you own.
What we are looking for
Role requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Practical experience with modern JavaScript or TypeScript, frontend frameworks, backend APIs, databases, Git, testing, and cloud deployment.
- A portfolio, GitHub profile, or examples of complete applications that demonstrate sound engineering judgement are strongly preferred.
- AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, React, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, database, or relevant software-development certification is an advantage.
What success looks like
Outcomes that matter
- Features are delivered end to end without avoidable gaps between frontend, backend, data, and deployment.
- Production code is tested, observable, secure, and maintainable by engineers other than the original author.
- Technical issues are diagnosed to root cause rather than repeatedly patched at the surface.
- Product, design, and engineering teams receive clear communication about trade-offs, risks, and delivery status.
