You will work across backend engineering and cloud infrastructure to build production services that are secure, observable, resilient, and straightforward to operate. The role suits an engineer who can move from an API or data problem into deployment, troubleshooting, and operational ownership without losing sight of the customer outcome.
What you will do
Core responsibilities
- Design and maintain secure backend services, APIs, and data integrations.
- Write tested, maintainable code for production services and supporting tools.
- Improve deployment reliability, observability, logging, and operational resilience.
- Investigate incidents and work with product and infrastructure teams to resolve root causes.
- Translate product requirements into durable systems with clear technical documentation.
What we are looking for
Role requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated professional experience.
- Working knowledge of backend development, relational or document databases, APIs, version control, and cloud deployment.
- Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly and collaborate in a distributed team.
- AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or relevant programming certification is an advantage.
