You will often be the first and last person a guest interacts with at The ChopYard. The role combines accurate order taking and payment handling with clear communication, a welcoming attitude, and careful coordination between customers, delivery riders, and the kitchen.
What you will do
Core responsibilities
- Welcome guests, take precise orders, and communicate them clearly to the kitchen.
- Process cash and mobile-money payments with accurate records and proper handover.
- Handle customer questions, order changes, and handoffs with warmth and speed.
- Keep the counter, ordering tools, menus, and customer area organised.
- Support order tracking, delivery handovers, and end-of-shift reconciliation.
What we are looking for
Role requirements
- Minimum BECE certificate; WASSCE, TVET, or customer-service training is an advantage.
- Numeracy, clear communication, and confidence handling cash and mobile-money payments.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, food service, or customer support is an advantage.
- Customer service, cash handling, digital payments, food safety, or hospitality certificate is an advantage.

- Orders are captured accurately and communicated clearly to the kitchen.
- Cash and mobile-money transactions reconcile correctly at handover.
- Customers receive timely, respectful communication even when service is busy.
